Executive Team

We have a core professional team with a wide variety of skills and experience combining over 110 years with more than 300 projects successfully completed. Our team has deep roots in the public sector with a mix of procurement, estates and broad healthcare consulting expertise.

David de Wet 
Managing Director 

The founder and Managing Director of EcoVate Group, David has over 15 years senior consultant experience. He is MCIPS and PRINCE2 qualified and has delivered and managed large scale and complex commercial and procurement projects for the public sector. David has built a reputation for being a high-quality leader with a depth of professional skills, built on a framework of holistic project management and business operations. He has a track record of successfully delivering all aspects of his assignments, having a unique ability to quickly evaluate, prioritise, and address underperforming services and to then devise and implement strategic recovery plans. His key areas of expertise include NHS health management, public sector procurement, business turnaround and strategy, and project financing, development and planning.

Peter Wollaston
Operations Director

Peter is an extremely accomplished Healthcare Support Services professional. He is MCIPS, PRINCE2, and MSP Practitioner qualified with over 30 years NHS experience. He has held various director-level positions at NHS Trusts where he was responsible for delivering key facilities management services at a strategic level. Peter also has strong consultancy expertise focused on Estates and Facilities Management – strategic, operational, legal and regulatory levels - for various NHS Trusts. His expertise has been strengthened through performing roles in a wide range of support services such as procurement, supply chain and project management.

Anne Joint 
Projects Director 

Anne is an accomplished and successful programme and project manager and business administrator with over 25 years of experience.  She is PRINCE2 qualified and has a strong background in information and Information Technology consultancy in the public sector, especially the NHS. Her core strengths are the development and leadership of projects and their teams, working to deadlines, managing and adhering to budgets with a reputation for delivery. She is adept at multi-tasking and problem solving, working with all levels of staff within organisations including presenting to boards. Managing multi-disciplinary teams is a key requirement of a project which often calls for her pragmatic approach.   

Denise Phelan
Senior Consultant

Denise is a highly experienced procurement professional with over 15 years’ experience in managing and delivering successful, complex procurements. She is MCIPS qualified with a strong grounding in Information Technology and procurement consultancy at Deloitte. Denise has demonstrated her procurement skill set within both the public and private sectors. Her speciality is non-medical procurement, covering a broad range of corporate categories such as Estates and Facilities, Workforce, Professional Services, IT, and Finance. Denise has a reputation for confirming practical adherence to OJEU Public Procurement Regulations, while ensuring her clients’ requirements are met and exceeded, where possible.

Samm Parker 
Senior Consultant 

Samm is a dynamic procurement and contract specialist with over 18 years’ experience and a proven track record of delivering complex, politically sensitive and strategic procurement programmes. He is MCIPS and PRINCE2 qualified. Samm is commercially astute, highly motivated, with strong problem-solving skills, a proven ability to strike deals, forge and build relationships and negotiate with senior stakeholders. Samm has extensive understanding of managed services, Information Technology, community and acute healthcare, commissioning/capital/equipping projects, digital inclusion, and the wider public sector. He has in-depth knowledge of EU procurement directives with applied first-hand experience of managing and delivering high value challenging EU procurements.

Jenny Kervarrec
Project Management Office (PMO) Lead

Jenny leads our PMO and Back Office team, which is EcoVate’s engine room for delivering projects for our clients, engaging with suppliers and key stakeholders on a day-to-day basis. Jenny has over 10 years’ experience in project management and business administration, including more than 3 years within the NHS environment. Jenny is highly organised, has strong attention to detail and is committed to ensuring the highest quality standards.
